St. Agnes Hospital is a Baltimore area community hospital. This 1994 annual report introduced a new model of care at St. Agnes and addressed several preconceptions about hospitals and healthcare in general. A great example of creative collaboration, the piece combined an idea suggested by surrealist Rene Margritte ("This is not a pipe") with neo-surrealist illustration and crisp design to drive home the point.
